GENOA - Twin River Senior Donovan Otto is set to compete at the collegiate level, after signing his letter of intent to Midland University. Otto is a four year letter winner at Twin River, and will be competing for the Midland Cross Country and Track teams. “Don is a great kid.  He is an exceptionally hard worker.” Twin River Cross Country Coach Jeff Morris said.  “Midland got themselves a good addition to their program.” Otto was hurt, prior to his final year of cross country, at basic training for the Army, but coach Morris says he will continue to excel at Midland. “It bothered him for a good chunk of the season, on and off.  But he never stopped pushing himself.  He had hopes of doing better in meets, but this was out of his control.”  Morris said.  “He will do good things at Midland, so the best is yet to come for Don.” Morris says Otto will serve in the Army Reserves, while at Midland University, and will fulfill his obligation to the Army after graduation.  Otto says he is excited to begin his collegiate career in Fremont. Donovan Otto is the son of Neil and Lisa Otto of Genoa.  He is the grandson of Rose Otto of Genoa, Gary Otto of Fremont, and Luella Gable of Shelby.
