NEBRASKA (Eric McCay / News Channel Nebraska) – Interstates are closed down in portions of Nebraska this morning.
No chances were taken Wednesday as a second massive storm slammed into Nebraska and nearby states.
Travelers heading west across Nebraska were being warned to pull off I-80. Westbound I-80 was closed at North Platte, and the Interstate was closed in both directions west of Big Springs.
In addition, U-S Highway 385 is closed from Sidney north to Dalton. State Highway 88 is closed to traffic from Bridgeport west to the border. State Highway 71 is shut down from Scottsbluff to Kimball.
