Southeast Nebraska Facing Winter Weather Advisory

VALLEY, NE — The spring-like weather could be coming to an end. The National Weather Service in Valley has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for 19 southeast Nebraska counties starting at 6 PM Friday and lasting through noon on Saturday.

The area is expected to receive between one and five inches of snow with the highest accumulations centered around Falls City. The Lincoln and Omaha metro areas are included in the advisory but aren’t predicted to get more than three inches.

As the final map shows you, Missouri could get hit the hardest by this system with areas of the state bracing for as much as eight inches of snow.
