Simons, Talley Lead Raiders to Win in Opener

Central Community College was able to capture a win in their opening game of the season, thanks in part to strong performances from a pair of players.

Head Coach Jerry Drymon says Jaxon Simons lead the team in scoring with 16 points, while Latrell Talley had a monster day on the glass scoring 13 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

The team went into halftime with a 3 point lead, 31-28, and would carry momentum into the second half winning 71-65, against D1 Juco Cloud County.

The team advances to 1-0 on the year, and will play Thursday against Mount Marty JV in their home opener.
