SCOTTSBLUFF, NE (Omaha World-Herald News Source) – A Scottsbluff man is headed to prison after his conviction in a rape case.
A Scotts Bluff County District Court judge sentenced 50-year-old Richard Requejo to 12 to 25 years imprisonment after he was convicted of forcing a woman to have sex against her will.
A jury convicted Requejo in February on a charge of felony sexual assault.
Requejo had been arrested and charged after Scottsbluff Police received a report by a woman who alleged she had been sexually assaulted in May of last year.
