SIDNEY - Cheyenne Hunt was named the 2018 Sidney Iowa Championship Rodeo Queen, making her the 95th queen to reign over the competition.
Hunt, along with other visiting rodeo royalty, visited the Fremont Iowa History Center and Iowa’s Championship Rodeo Museum in Sidney on Wednesday.
Cheyenne cited her love for all-things-country as her inspiration to seek the title of Rodeo Queen. She will spend her year of reign visiting schools and nursing homes and promoting equestrian sports.
