Potentially Violent Situation Resolved

GENOA - A potentially violent situation in Genoa on Monday resulted in one man's arrest. The Nance County Sheriff's Office says that a 911 call was received around 4:30 P.M. on Monday from an unidentified woman who only said, "He's going to kill me." It was determined that the call came from Genoa, but the exact location could not be located. Nance County as well as the Nebraska State Patrol coordinated a response to locate the caller. Following interviews with the community, officers made contact with a suspicious male identified as Cody Hunsaker. It was determined that Hunsaker's ex-wife was the 911 caller, and she made the call after an argument between the two had frightened her. The woman was later located and found to be safe and unharmed. Hunsaker was discovered to have an active arrest warrant in Washington State, and was arrested on the warrant.
