Police investigating series of vandalism and break-ins in Nebraska City

NEBRASKA CITY – The Nebraska City Crime stoppers are asking the public for assistance in solving several crimes in the city.

Thurman’s Bike and Sport has experienced several incidences of vandalism, including windows and doors being shot with a pellet or BB gun.

They’re also are asking for help in identifying a person who broke into Bohl Plumbing and Heating and stole copper tubing and other items.

Law enforcement is also reminding residents to take precautions to protect their belongings in their vehicles. There have been several reports of purses being stolen from unlocked vehicles. Windows have been broken or left open.

The thefts have happened during the day at various businesses and parking lots, as well as at night at area residences.
