Police identify victims in Tuesday night’s North Omaha shooting

OMAHA, NE (WOWT 6 News) – Omaha Police have identified the two people shot Tuesday night near 47th and Redman avenues.

Eighteen-year-old Elijah Foster was killed, and 20-year-old Erica Robinson was wounded.

Police searched the area Tuesday night looking for evidence. More than 14 hours later, they were unable to provide anything about possible suspect descriptions.

Police are asking anyone with information leading to the arrest of a suspect can receive a reward by calling Omaha Crime Stoppers.

Police are asking anyone with information leading to the arrest of a suspect can receive a reward by calling Omaha Crime Stoppers. Police are investigating a shooting in North Omaha that killed one and wounded another Tuesday night.

The initial call was for a shooting in the 5600 block of North 44th Street around 5-30 Tuesday.

At that scene, police found a person wounded and was taken to Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition.

Officers learned that there was another victim and found a person dead at 47th and Ellison Streets, three blocks away.

Nearby Redman Street is shut down while police investigate the incident.
