OMAHA - A man walking in a downtown Omaha parking lot dies after being hit by a car.
Authorities have the two people that were in the car, in custody.
Omaha police say officers were called to the lot early Saturday morning and found Jeffrey Grieves deceased.
Investigators say the car struck Grieves as it entered the lot.
Police say the car briefly stopped, before leaving the scene.
Authorities later found that car and arrested the suspected driver, Orlando Santacruz-Navarro, on suspicion of leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
Police also arrested passenger Jesus Dominguez-Navarro on suspicion of tampering with evidence.
