NORTH PLATTE, NE (National Weather Service) – Today and tonight’s forecast includes an interesting combination of winter and spring weather.
Expect a mostly cloudy day today with some morning fog in the west lifting by this afternoon. Rain will begin to move in this evening in the south with the possibility of a few claps of thunder. As the rain moves into the northwest Sandhills overnight, colder temperatures will turn it to freezing rain with ice accumulations up to a quarter of an inch possible.
