Nebraska Country School Association to hold annual convention in July

LINCOLN — Karen Keehr, a curator with History Nebraska, will be among the featured speakers July 19-20 at the annual Nebraska Country School Association’s convention at Nebraska City’s Lied Conference Center.

The two-day event will include presentations about the preservation of country schools in Red Cloud and Neligh, as well as a field trip to the Rock Bluff School south of Plattsmouth, the “Bloom Where You’re Planted” Farm Schoolhouse in Avoca, and the Murdock School in Murdock.
