Nebraska City Preacher Arraigned On Sexual Assault Of A Child Charges

NEBRASKA CITY – A district judge has rejected a plea for a lower bond from a Nebraska City preacher who was arraigned Tuesday on multiple counts alleging sexual assault of a child. Larry Mullins’ attorney said the pastor of Apostolic Christian Ministries of Nebraska City has serious health issues that require him to keep his legs elevated and said he needs more space for exercise than his jail cell allows. Otoe County Attorney David Partsch said the current bond of $750,000 is appropriate. Partsch: “Would note that this case does allege ongoing incidents over a course of years starting when the alleged victim was just six to seven years of age.” Mullins entered a not guilty plea to nine counts, some that carry a minimum of 20 years in prison up to a life sentence.
