PERU – Singer, songwriter and actor Jesse McCartney is bringing his Resolution Tour to Peru State College in March.

The Peru State Campus Activities Board (CAB), who’s hosting the show, announced the concert Monday morning.

McCartney has released four albums in his 18-year career, including “Beautiful Soul” in Sept. 2014 – an album that reached platinum status in America. The title track, “Beautiful Soul,” reached No. 4 on Billboard Magazine’s Top 40 list and No. 16 on Billboard Magazine’s Hot 100 list.

His most recent singles, “Better With You” and “Wasted,” will be a part of his upcoming album.

As an actor, McCartney played a regular role in All My Children and cameoed as himself in The Suite Life of Zack & CodyHannah Montana and What I Like About You. He was also the voice of Theodore Seville in the 2007, 2011 and 2015 live-action adaptations of Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Doors at the Al Wheeler Activities Center open on March 15 at 7 p.m. with the show beginning at 8 p.m.

Tickets are on sale now at  www.peru.edu/mccartney. Peru State students can buy tickets at no charge. Faculty and staff are $5 and the general public is $20. A limited amount of meet and greet passes and VIP tickets are available.
