INTERVIEW: Broken Bow Player of the Game Padyn Borders

ORD, NE — The Broken Bow Indians outscored Ord 20-8 in the fourth quarter to grab a 56-41 win on Tuesday night.

Ord (9-10) started the game hot behind eight first-half points from Garrett Bundy and led 15-11 after the first quarter.  Then, Broken Bow (19-2) started to click on offense and led 25-20 at halftime.

It was just a three-point lead for the Indians heading to the fourth quarter, but the 20-8 run sealed to deal for Broken Bow.  They did not relinquish the lead in the second half.

Mason McMeen led the Indians with 18 points while Padyn Borders had 15 and Kevin Linn added 10.

Nate Wells and Harrison Benton each scored 14 points for the Chanticleers in the loss.

Broken Bow, who has won 13 straight games, hosts Cozad on Friday before ending the regular season at Minden.  Ord travels to O’Neill on Friday and finishes the regular season at Ravenna.
