Garth Brooks is back.
The country megastar will return to Lincoln for the first time in 20 years.
Brooks is wrapping up his North American tour, and he’s stopping at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Oct. 21.
Expect Brooks to select from his numerous hits including “Friends in Low Places,” “Standing Outside the Fire” and “The Dance” when he performs with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, in Lincoln.

The tour announcement said it will be the tour’s last stop in Nebraska, Iowa or Kansas.
Brooks last performed in Lincoln in 1997 when he sold out five shows in a row at Lincoln’s Devaney Center. About 15,000 people attended each show, according to The World-Herald’s archives.
His date has the potential to expand to more shows. He hasn’t performed fewer than three concerts on his recent tour stops.
When Brooks played Omaha in 2015, the initial two concerts announced quickly expanded into six total shows.
With 70 million albums sold, Brooks is the biggest-selling artist since the advent of SoundScan, Nielsen’s music tracking system that launched in 1991. He’s also the No. 2 best selling artist ever in the United States, behind only the Beatles.
Brooks was absent from the spotlight for a time. He retired in 2001 and only performed sporadically before launching his world tour in 2014.
Brooks has won two Grammy Awards and 25 Academy of Country Music Awards, and 19 of his songs have hit No. 1 on Billboard’s country music chart.
