Columbus Football Standout to Represent Nebraska in Game vs. Iowa All-Stars

COLUMBUS, Neb. – A Columbus High football standout will be taking on some of the best players from Iowa in an all-star game this weekend.

Garrett Krumland, a senior lineman for CHS, will play in the River Battle Bowl at Treynor High School, near Council Bluffs, Iowa on Saturday.

Krumland, the only area athlete to play in the game, was one of the leaders on a Discoverer team that went 7-3 this season thanks to a dynamic offense.

The game includes 50 of the top players from both Iowa and Nebraska. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
