Clark resigns weeks into Grand Island city administrator role

GRAND ISLAND, NE (Omaha World-Herald News Source) – After less than two months on the job, Brent Clark has left his position as city administrator of Grand Island.

A press release sent Tuesday morning from the city said Mayor Roger Steele and Clark mutually agreed to end Clark’s employment with the city of Grand Island and that Clark has chosen to explore other opportunities.

Mayor Steele declined to give specific reasons for Clark leaving but he did tell the Grand Island Independent that there was a difference in management styles and priorities.

Clark officially took over the position March First. He previously served as the City Administrator in Broken Bow.
