Auburn Woman Accused Of Sexual Assault Of A Child

AUBURN – An Auburn woman is accused of six counts of sexual assault of a child from 2002 to 2004. Wendy Groves, 57, is accused of sexual contact with a person under the age of 14 beginning in June of 2002 and lasting for two and a half years. Groves was arrested July 18 and released on a $500 bond provision. As a condition of bond, the state asked that she be banned from contact with four disabled adult children, who are currently in the care of adult protective services. Nemaha County Public Defender Keith Kollasch was appointed to represent Groves, who listed Social Security for the care of the four adults as her only source of income.
