NEBRASKA CITY – Patty Madsen and former Nebraska defensive end DeMoine Adams visited the B103 studio Wednesday to morning to promote tonight’s TeamMates Mentoring Event.
TeamMates is holding a pancake supper at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church from 5 to 7:30 today.
Adams, who was the Nebraska lifter of the year in 2002 and a member of the 2001 Brook Berringer Citizenship Team, started 24 games as defensive end.
Adams helped Nebraska win its last conference championship in 1999. In 2001, he played rush end opposite of Chris Kelsay and earned All-Big 12 honors.
