Broken Bow City Tree Dump located on South 13th, will be open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00-12:00 and 1:00-5:30.
The Broken Bow C&D Cell will be open on Mondays & Wednesday, from 1:00-5:00, and Saturdays from 9:00-2:00.
Acceptable Waste Material includes: Wood (including painted & treated), wall covering, drywall, plaster, and non-asbestos insulation, shingles, and other related roofing material, pipe and metals, plumbing fixtures, glass, plastic, carpeting, and non-asbestos floor coverings, and non-asbestos siding including vinyl, metal, and masonite. We DO NOT accept trees, branches, and yard waste, appliances, household waste, industrial solid waste, corrugated cardboard, tires, hazardous waste, asbestos waste, waste that may contain polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), or liquid waste.
The Custer County Grange is collecting perscription containers to be used by doctors who do mission trips to needy countries. They are needed to send medications home with the people that they treat. Just remove the labels and make sure that they are clean. They can be left at the Prairie Pioneer Center or get in touch with Margaret Smith 872-5587, Shannon Cooksley 872-2659, or leave with Richard Wright at Callie Court. We need them by the first week in Sept.
