Broken Bow Fire and Rescue and Merna Fire and Rescue were called to the scene of a 2 vehicle accident just before 8:00 am on Wednesday morning. According to the Custer County Sheriff's office a 2008 Dodge 4 door pick up with out of state plates was traveling east on the Callaway Road and collided with an older model black flat bed dodge pickup with Custer County plates that was traveling on highway 2. The black pick up came to rest near the green at the corner of the Broken Bow Golf Course and the 4 door pick-up with came to rest in the ditch. Three people were transported to Jennie Melham Medical Center and 2 of the 3 were then transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. The names of the parties involved have not been released.
