County Court held two sessions on Monday, May 15

In case CR 17-147, Ryder Baker, age 37 of Broken Bow, was charged with alleged failure to register as a sex offender, which is a Class IIIA Felony. A preliminary hearing was set for June 5 at 2pm

Mitchell Burnett, age 44 of Anselmo, had two charges of alleged 2nd Degree Forgery and Theft by Taking from the Victoria Township, Class IV felonies. Burnett waived his right to a preliminary hearing and the case was bound over to District Court. His trial will take place June 1 at 9:30am.

Ross Carstensen, age 41 of Aurora, appeared for an arraignment for five separate counts of allegedly manufacturing visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a child, a Class ID felony which carries a maximum sentence of 50 years. Bond was set at $10,000 with a 10% privilege and the case will be continued June 8 at 1:30pm.

Kevin Williams, 30 of Broken Bow, who is currently incarcerated, appeared for five separate charges, all of which were continued or had hearings scheduled for June 5 at 2:30pm.

A preliminary hearing for Maggie L. Royle, 39 of Oconto was waived. She has allegedly taken
more than $13,500 from Orscheln Farm and Home in Broken Bow June 2015 to December 2016, when she was an employee. This is a Class IIA felony. Christopher Wickham serves as her attorney and the case CR 17-72 will be bound over to District Court on June 1 at 9:30am.
